Walsh Ranch is a small community of 238 homes in northwest Round Rock, surrounded by several other pleasant, master-planned suburban neighborhoods. The community is named for the Walsh family, one of Round Rock’s prominent early families, who owned the ranch land upon which the neighborhood now stands. With 632 homes, Sendero Springs includes 42 acres of lush greenbelt that runs through the center and eastern side of the neighborhood. Brushy Creek North is a small, family-friendly community just outside of the Round Rock city limits, but within the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction. It is a part of the larger Brushy Creek area of western Round Rock that is made up of several neighborhoods named after the creek running through it. Homes in Brushy Creek North were generally built in the late 1970s through the 1980s on large lots, some over half an acre, some over a full acre. The lots are filled with beautiful oaks and other stately trees, and peace and quiet are the norm here. Each home is custom built, and many have exteriors of native Austin limestone.
